Kimm Kessinger, Director
Kimm Kessinger is the owner and founder of Abilities in Action. Kimm has BA degree in special education and a masters in educational administration. She has 30+ years of professional experience working with children and adults with cognitive delays in a school, residential, workshop and community based setting. Kimm's passion for working with individuals with disabilities sparked a very short retirement from Crawford County Board of Development Disabilities where she was responsible for starting and supervising the habilitation, service/support, employment and recreation departments as well as chairing the behavior support review team for the county. Kimm is a CARF surveyor and a COPE instructor. Kimm's compassion, love, and joy that she has for her work inspires her team to make positive community connections that can be shared.
Amanda Moran, Placement Coordinator
Mandi in the CEO of Chrysalis Advantage Point, the Day Habilitation Division of Abilities in Action. Mandi’s program provides a state model for program innovations in the field of day service, with a community based training and volunteer opportunities affording consumers opportunities to gain hands on work skills and extended time to increase knowledge of work through a wide range of business partnerships. Mandi also provides a limited amount of direct job development and coaching and has an extensive background working in both of these capacities.
Barb Bradley, Job Developer
Barb Bradley joined the Abilities in Action team in 2012 and has been a great asset from day one. Barb has a huge network of business and personal connections that assist her in finding unique and long lasting job placements. Barb brings many years of marketing and community support to our team and her drive for success assists many individuals in finding confidence and happiness that is so pivotal in the job search. Barb provides general and Employment First development, coaching, retention, community based assessments, work adjustment and job readiness training's with a smile, upbeat attitude, and a true passion for her work. Barb has the ability to impact lives in Crawford, Marion, Morrow, Seneca, Wyandot, Union, Franklin, Delaware, and Huron Counties.
Amy Frizzell, Job Developer
Amy joined the Abilities in Action team in 2012 with a specialization with Employment First Clients. Amy has been working with adults with cognitive and physical disabilities in many different settings throughout her career. Amy is able to achieve successful placements for students and adults with cognitive, physical, and dual diagnoses in Crawford, Marion, Seneca, and Ashland Counties. Amy has an uplifting and positive demeanor that helps clients work through their job development, coaching, and retention services as well as community based assessments, work adjustment and job readiness training's.
Bill Klug, Job Developer
Bill joined the Abilities in Action team in 2014 after a long career in working with individuals with chemical dependencies, mental health conditions, previous convictions, and dual diagnosis. Bill brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise in these quickly growing areas of service. Bill's commitment to the people he works alongside results in rapid and successful placements. Bill provides excellent development, retention, community based assessments, work adjustments and job readiness skills training's. Bill is able to assist people in Crawford, Morrow, and Marion counties in finding long lasting, enjoyable, and successful employment
Mark Cory, Job Developer
Mark began working with Abilities in Action in 2015 shortly after retiring from a full career as a teacher in the Colonel Crawford School Systems. Mark brings a long history and knowledge of working with students and transition age youth with developmental, physical, and mental health support needs. Mark also brings expertise in working with Job and Family Services, individuals with family and natural supports, and clients who have a professional career in mind. Mark has many connections and spends a lot of time networking in his home area of Bucyrus. Mark provides job development, job readiness skills training, work adjustment and community based assessment services, as well as retention services to clientele in Crawford, Marion, Wyandot, and Seneca Counties. Mark looks forward to meeting new people, and helping them achieve their dream position.

Kara Ault, Assistant Operations Manager
Abilities in Action was able to welcome Kara Ault as a part of our team in 2017 from a career working with adults with cognitive and mental health support needs. Kara has a passion and drive for assisting people to gain the confidence, skills, and knowledge to obtain and continue to enjoy long term employment. Her knowledge responsive, person centered services coupled with her strong organizational skills and intuitive ability to anticipate and prepare for upcoming projects makes her extremely valuable in her role as assistant operations manager
